Solo Arrangements, Examples

The complexity of the ten examples in this section are classified as either simple or advanced, with five of each. The simple arrangements avoid difficult chords, large intervals, and very fast passages. The ten examples are available in musical notation including tablature (png, pdf, gp5, and Music XML), audio (mp3), and video (streaming and mp4). For consistency they are all are played on the same guitar, an Ibanez AF207, without making any attempt to fit the sound to each song. The arrangements are a little easier to play, particularly the hammer-ons and pull-offs, on a standard electric with, say, a 0.010 string in the top so if you want to make life easier for yourself don't start practicing an advanced arrangement on a hollow-body jazz guitar with a set of heavy gauge strings.
